NIDDK Information Clearinghouses Produce Catalog of Materials
The National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse (NKUDIC) is pleased to announce the NIDDK Information Clearinghouses Publications Catalog—a comprehensive 32-page directory of information on all the products and services offered by the three National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) information clearinghouses. Patients, health professionals, and the public can use the catalog to order nearly 100 NKUDIC publications and more than 130 separate materials available from the National Diabetes Information Clearinghouse and the National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse. To request a free copy of the catalog (Pub. # NIDDK-02), call 1–800–891–5390.
Online Catalog and Credit Cards Make Ordering NIDDK Publications Easy
Many customers of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) information clearinghouses have asked to order publications online and to use their credit cards to pay for bulk orders of materials. In response, the clearinghouse now accepts MasterCard and Visa orders and will launch the NIDDK publications catalog website at http://catalog.niddk.nih.gov in Fall 2002. Single copies of most clearinghouse materials remain free of charge, and government publications are not copyrighted, so you have permission to make multiple copies for distribution if you wish. For customers ordering large quantities of materials, however, these new services will expedite the ordering process. The clearinghouse continues to accept payment by check, money order, or purchase order.
